Post Project Harbinger
Well Craig asked me to post my mod Harbinger here on the forums so here its goes. Harbinger is based off of Falcon northwest's fragbox 2 chassis and what an amazing chassis to work with all aluminum dremel disk cut through it like butter in yet very very sturdy for the almost 40lbs in it

Watercooling Parts SPONSORED BY DANGER DEN
-Danger Den i7 Waterblock
-Danger Den DDC pump w/ petras top
-Dual Danger Den 240mm Stealth Rads
-T-line
-Tieton Waterblock 260/280

A big thanks for Dan at Danger den for sponsoring me with a 240mm Stealth Radiator and new top for my tieton Waterblock.
Image

This is were the gears in my head started working since I was getting poor temps with a 160mm rad and a 120mm rad I decided to go bigger much bigger this meant one final layout change moving the power supply to the front of the chassis.
Image
Perfect fit even allows clearance with the 240mm rad installed. Its like it was ment to be lol :D

Image
Since the power supply is on its side a 90 degree cable is needed to be used that leads to the back of the case. A small notch was cut into the side of the bracket to allow the psu cable to come through.
Image

Certain things had to be fixed with the case from previous modifications/ brackets in the case
Image
Since the 160mm rad got tossed so did its bracket/floor space
Image
Sorry little PSU bracket thingy you gots to go for Mr. Radiator to fit. A moment of silence please :crybaby: ... Ok lets move on lol

Oooooo Radiator
Image
Image
Wish I had a better camera to take pics mine been in repair for 5 months Im gettin pissed. Anyway for those of you that have a stealth rad you know the how fine the fins are almost mesmorizing lol.

Heres the mock bracket for the rad
Image
And now the real thing I have to make 1 more of these for the 2nd rad.
Image
Image
Image
3/4 views turned out better than I thought.

Asus Rampage Gene II the backbone of the system
Image
Image

Hardware installed everything fits :D :D :D

Image

I got the idea of the front panel from Voodoo Omen to have a floating effect . Due to new layout thought the slit where the CD drive goes is being removed, since the drive it now on top.

Loop parts and Install
Image
That Petra top is amazing I had to get mine on ebay since their discountined and the yate loons are nice but kinda loud (These spin really fast I accidently hit my finger on a blade when it was on it sliced my finger and cracked the blade off )
Danger Den DDC pump with Petra top installed amazing I know lol
Image
My sponsorship stuff from danger den Thanks again Dan. The rad is being paint black to match the theme.
Image
Image
The mounting bracket for the i7 block got cut down to meet the clearance of the rad

Image
Image
Bracket for the Pump and for the hole where the 160mm rad placement was
Image

First loop install this is being redone since the radiator is being moved also

Well thats it for now more later

Do you have the i7 920? I'm still on air and haven't played with OC'ing yet. I was wondering what your clocks were looking like.

Are you just on H2O or did you put any additive to it?

Those are really pretty good temps. Especially considering the limited space and cooling power that you have.

What are your northbridge temps? Mine is always a little too warm for my liking. I've added a Zalman cooler to it, but it will be getting a Swiftech NB-MAX once I get it under water. The only times those temps ever caused issues were with some heavy rendering I'd do occasionally.

55C at your highest? Damn, I've never gotten it lower than that even with a fan. I can't be bothered for a remount at the moment. I'll hold off until I need to put the hardware in OSIDIAS.

Most (all, lol) of the onboard chipset coolers (especially the tube ones) are junk and just for looks. I have lowered temps in half most times just by removing them and using simple copper coolers.

Only problem with me replacing the Nb cooler is finding a X58 Voltage regulator WC block and making it fit hmmmmm maybe just maybe cutting the acrylic and a 90 degree fitting would work.

Lol, everyone makes changes as a project progresses. I changed a hundred different things on the Rogue. It's one thing I'm trying to avoid on OSIDIAS though... It's why I've been revising the same drawings for 10 months now.

Anyway, I look forward to the revisions.
